I recently bought my new 24″ ViewSonic LED monitor. Before that I have been using a 15″ CRT for around one month after my 17″ ViewSonic LCD died. So here is the difference:

I used this CRT for around one month… Well it was not really nice… I was stuck with a 800×600 resolution and I was not really comfortable with it since i was so used to a 17″ LCD. Well it could help me out in some cases but I was not really able to work properly. My eyes were not so used to that so they were uncomfortable after long use… So I did not really stay in front of the PC for quite a long time. I just used it to start some downloads, or if i was bored… i watched my TV Shows (Chuck and Fringe).
Well in the meantime I had to wait for LEAL to bring in the ViewSonic monitor since it was out of stock. Finally one day I just called there and they told me to come and take it, the ViewSonic monitor has just arrived ^^ I was sooo glad finally… 
And this is what I brought home:
ViewSonic VX2450WM-LED
I really loved my new screen. The Image quality is so great, really wonderful. I was just really satisfied with the new screen.
Here are the main Specs for the ViewSonic VX2450WM-LED:
- 16:9 Widescreen with Full HD 1920×1080 resolution
- Mercury Free LED backlight with energy saving
- DVI with HDCP and VGA inputs for multiple video sources
- Dynamic Contrast Ratio for sharp, srisp images
- ENERGY STAR 5.0 and TCO 5.0 certified
- Integrated Stereo Speakers
The only thing that was missing was the HDMI input. But anyways, we can get past that. 
Just can’t wait to see some Hi-Def movies here…

I have a 19" ASUS LCD monitor and I enjoy it. Now I am trying to imagine you, in front of your 24"… *jealous*

I also changed my complete PC setup recently. My LED monitor also Viewsonic and LED monitor is good for eyes, picture quality and excellent to watch movies or play games. Enjoy new monitor experience. Thanks
